GHARANA

A perfect royal and authentic feast from Gujarat is with lots of love. Thali style of eating with many varieties of delicacies and here flavors of Gujarat. Kathiyawad is western region of Gujarat or present day Saurashtra in Gujarat. This region has typical flavors which are spicy and very authentic. So try some authentic rural Kathiyawadi style of food.

A Royal Indian Journey in Dubai which serves excellent North Indian, Mughlai cuisine.  The Gazebo is an award-winning restaurant with its unique Biryani full of delightful aromas.  The descendants of Bawarchi’s and Rakabdars ( chefs in Mughals households) are recreating amazing dishes using 200 years old recipes.

CALICUT NOTEBOOK RESTAURANT 

Calicut (Kozhikode) is located on the Malabar coast of India and so as the name suggests, you will find pure Malabar coastal style of Indian cuisine here.  Though the location of the restaurant is not great you must try it for tasting Keralite cuisine.

INDIA PALACE RESTAURANT

An award-winning restaurant serving authentic Indian cuisine with rich royal interiors.  Here you will find finest of Mughlai and North Indian flavors.

WHY INDIA PALACE RESTAURANT – Royal Hospitality, very Delicious Food like Kebabs, Curries & special Biryanis, Located very close to tourist attraction.

KULCHA KING 

Kulcha – a special North Indian style of bread made from fine flour and yeast. Then it is stuffed with special stuffings and cooked in Tandoor style of oven. Kulcha King in UAE has 9 outlets and I tried it in Flora Hotel outlet at Al Barsha which is having awesome Kulchas, Biryanis and Kebabs.  Also on Friday, this special outlet of Kulcha King at Flora Hotel hosts Lunch Buffet for 49AED only.

WHY KULCHA KING – Awesome delicious North Indian cusine, Reasonable rates, Great Ambiance.

ZAFRAN

PURANMAL

 A savory & Indian sweets(Mithai) restaurant shop with around 18 outlets in the city. I have tried the Discovery Garden one and so referring that to you all.  If you love Indian sweets(Mithai), savory snacks (Namkeens), Indian Street food (Chaats) then go for this. They also provide delicious Indian breakfast early in the morning.

 Dine authentic Indian food prepared by selected chefs in royal ethnic interiors and top of that you get an unobstructed view of the tallest building of the world – The Burj Khalifa. A classy artistic style of bar, live open kitchen, vibrant colorful interiors are perfect for sophisticated and fashionable dinner choice.

MUMTAZ MAHAL INDIAN SPECIALITY RESTAURANT

 An award-winning restaurant located in historic lanes of the city is serving classy north Indian style cuisine. As the name suggests Mumtaz, you can see paintings and glimpses of Taj Mahal in every corner of this restaurant. This restaurant offers live entertainment in the form of Bollywood songs and dances in the evening with dinner.

EXOTICA

A small quirky, lakeside facing Indo-Chinese restaurant which serves North Indian food and Chinese food(in Indian style) welcomes you with polite staff.  It has outdoor and indoor seating with the Chinese style of interiors.

TIPS TO BE CONSIDERED – MINI GUIDE TO INDIAN RESTAURANTS IN DUBAI

• It is better to book tables in advance, especially on weekends to avoid huge rush and queues.
• Some restaurants have Valet Parking, so call them before.
• There are a lot of spices in Indian cuisine and so before ordering check with your waiter for Very spicy, Medium(Normal) Spicy, and Less Spicy.
• You can find a lot of vegetarian varieties in all Indian Restaurants as vegetarianism is very common in the Indian lifestyle.
• For the Fine Dining restaurants category, check deals on Groupon or Entertainer. They offer discounts on many credit cards also.
