Golf – generally a club game where the aim is to finish by playing a ball from teeing ground to the hole on the putting green within least number of trials.  This classic game  of golf is associated with green grass, a lot of sunlight and open area but when some fun & interesting twist is given to this conventional game then it results into some unique form of Tee & Putt Mini Golf in UAE.  Recently I was invited by Tee & Putt Mini Golf for having some unconventional fun at Golfing and therefore presenting my review of Tee And Putt Indoor Mini Golf, Dubai – Glow in Dark.

The huge indoor hall is transformed into a dark and glowing 18 holes mini golf area where you have to play golf in conventional style but in unconventional surroundings. So experience the game of golf in dark surrounding with neon lights guiding you to accomplish your task which sounds very unique and fun experience in Dubai,  United Arab Emirates (UAE).  UAE has hot summers and for most of the time, you have to remain or do indoor activities. So considering these climatic conditions you can enjoy the game of Golf with some unique twists and challenges in Dubai while playing in an indoor dark room with glowing surroundings. This new concept is total amusement for all age groups.

As the whole concept is dark and indoor style, Tee And Putt Mini Golf have brought another twist and turn to have space theme in their Golfing style. The whole area is designed on Galaxy, Aliens, Astronauts, and much space-related stuff. The Neon paints or directions décor on wall with neon lights all around will transport you to some different imagination and amusement world.  Here there is placement of 18 holes mini black colored golf grounds with different hurdles and as the theme suggests, so the surroundings and hurdles are space-based. You can also locate space debris glowing with neon lights around you when you move from one hole to another hole. Even the walking path in the darkroom are depicted by glowing footsteps.

These glowing foot steps resemble aliens footsteps. Following these footsteps, you go to next level. As this does not involve only playing golf but many cryptic or mental puzzles are also to be cracked down to cross next level. So this place is not meant for only children but teenagers, youngsters, and adults too enjoy here to their fullest.

Packages at Tee And Putt Indoor Mini Golf, Dubai – Glow in Dark

In general they have basic 2 packages –

• Mini Golf (Package First) – 65AED per person – Here you can play all 18 hole
• Puzzles Mini Golf (Package Second) – 80AED per person – Here you have to crack the puzzle which is similar to Escape Game room type of puzzles and then you can proceed to play your game. But before each hole you have to solve puzzles and the hole gets unlocked for you. This package involves mental and physical creativity too.

Now you can unlock many mental & creative challenges before you nail all 18ft. Putt.

They also offer birthday party and corporate team building packages. In birthday celebrations or group parties, for the first hour, you are given the chance to crack all 18 holes by forming many groups within and then you are taken to special glowing party room for food and fun. Even their party hall is themed with glow lights in dark hall which is interesting to host some party or corporate team-building event.  For Party packages you have to book them in advance by calling on 800 Mini Golf (6464 4653).

My Verdict on Tee And Putt Indoor Mini Golf, Dubai – Glow in Dark

I chose Package 1 and as a family we made a team of 3 within us only. Though in the first trial, it looked simple for me, but after completing one hole I was surprised to see that even I am getting more involved and trying seriously to clear out the hurdles and putt the ball in the least number of shots. It was interesting to make some new strategies to finish all 18 holes in the least number of attempts. Even the hurdles placement are very interesting and unique. As this area is dark hall but the hurdles, hole, balls, putter are all glowing with exciting neon lights. This made me easy to target on hole instead of distracted by surroundings, as I can see my putter stick, ball, and, hole only.

For 3 of us, we took approximately 1 hour to complete all 18 holes and after clearing all winner is declared with least no. of trials.

• Look out carefully your goal, hurdles and then carefully start playing to win the game.
• Wear glowing,  bright-colored clothes so that you also glow in dark.
• Keep your assigned glowing balls carefully till the end, because if lost then there is a penalty.
• Go with group of friends or family so that the team is formed.
• Keep free from distraction by depositing mobile and purse/wallet in lockers.
• If you want to avoid crowd, then choose weekdays.
