HARA BHARA BITES – Popular Hara Bhara (Green Leaves) Kebab presented very innovatively. I loved small bites of Kebab on Indian papadums with a small onion-ring and sauce on it. It makes a perfect finger food with all toppings.

MAIN COURSE

METHI PURI ALOO – Puri or Indian deep-fried bread which is made up of flour and fenugreek leaves are served with special North Indian style Potato curry. This is a favorite breakfast or snack of India in all states. I loved the taste of Potato curry and crispiness of Puri (Indian bread).

CHOLE CANAPES – Chole Puri is a very popular dish in India, but if presented in finger food style then it becomes quite an interesting innovation. I loved Puri were given the role of canapes here and as a topping, they placed Indian style of Chole masala with chopped onions. So I can call this as an Indian canape with all authentic taste of Chole Puri.  A unique way of presenting Chole Puri and easy to eat also.

MASALA PAV – A deconstructed form of Pav Bhaji – famous street food of Mumbai. Instead of serving Bhaji separate from Pav, they served Pav which is coated with Bhaji. A very spicy and delicious dish.

  1. These looks incredibly delicious! My stomach is actually growling now, and I literally just ate an hour ago. It looks like they have a good selection of vegetarian options available too. To be honest, I’ve never tried Indian food, but I really want to give it a go, especially after seeing these. Very throughout review too. Thank you for sharing, Yukti!

  2. The food looks really delicious. Some are new to me like the Hara Bhara Bites and I would be keen to try. Love the food presentation. It just shows that this truly a masterpiece of a good chef. I miss the chole canapes of India and badly craving for one.

Thank you for sharing this. Would love to visit should we get the chance to visit Dubai again.

  3. The food looks so yummy. Dubai has still not been visited by me and probably the yummy options would be another reason to go there at the earliest. I love frankies but the Indian food of Methi Puris and Masala Pav would be my first choice. Yummy food. Feeling hungry.

  4. Wait, you mean to tell me I’ve been roaming through life without the knowledge of the existence of Frankies?!!! Oh my gosh these looks delicious! I need to try these asap! I’ll have to put this place on my list for whenever I make it to Dubai. (which I’ve always wanted to visit!)

  5. I had no idea that an Indian Frankie was a Indian Burrito. I might have thought it was some kind of sausage since “franks” are slang for hot dog. Interesting to read that Tibbs was started by a Masterchef participant. But that means that the dishes have a twist to them. I did not recognize many of the Indian dishes served. But it looked like an amazing variety of food was available. Good tip about having the food at home.

    1. Yes Linda, as this restaurant is by Masterchef participant, many dishes are created by her and so you cannot recognise many Indian dishes as they are given some new forms.

  6. I’ve never heard of any of these foods or drinks before, but they sound so unique and interesting! The Thandai definitely piques my interest, as well as the tropical ambrosia! I’m glad you got a chance to try this fun and colorful spot.

  7. We have Tibbs Frankie here in India as well, and I sometimes get cravings to dig my teeth into a hot spicy frankie. The chatpata filling with crunchy onions takes it to another level. Reading on I was pleased to know about the new Tibbs Frrankie outlet and the yummy dishes it has to offer its diners. Would certainly love to try the hara bhara bites and dahi ke chole.
