During last weekend I and my family visited Abu Dhabi for some of our personal work and had visited Mynt Abu Dhabi for lunch. As it is a newly opened restaurant, so was not knowing much about it, but after checking its great ratings, we decided to opt for this. A stylish and sleek restaurant with cheerful restaurant serves authentic spicy Indian food with a modern fusion. Mynt Indian restaurant presents authentic, traditional Indian cuisine with a blend of 21st-century flavors and presentation. A warm welcoming staff with cheerful interiors makes your meal time more special. Right from your first step inside the restaurant and till the finish of the meal, their pleasing staff is always there to pamper you. Delicious food, cheerful ambiance and pleasing hospitality of this restaurant would truly win your heart.

Black and gold sleek and stylish interiors with turquoise couches give a very contemporary style of an arrangement. The yellow curtains and yellow flowers give a pleasing contrast to dark surroundings. The color combination of black, turquoise and yellow makes perfect colorful interiors with lovely contrasts. Even the lighting arrangements are great. Walls are simple with only a couple of wall pictures depicting Indian culture. I liked their minimalist style of décor as they have not used many artifacts but with the choice of right colors, they have created the whole décor.
You can choose window seating with a view of lively streets of Abu Dhabi or a personal cabin style of seating.
The geometrical grills with golden paints give a very dramatic effect to this restaurant. These grills you can find while window seating or used as a separation for personal seating. Even there is a party table where more guests can sit together and have meals. This table is laid out in a separate dining area and faces a big mirror. This big table is perfect for a family get together or a small party.
This restaurant has an open style of the kitchen where you can peep out to see your favorite foods are cooked by expert chefs.

I went to this restaurant for a casual weekend lunch with my family and were welcomed by one of the staff members with great courtesy and also she took the order with great patience.
WHAT I ORDERED AT
FOR STARTERS
I ordered Aloo Chana Chaat and Tomato-Dhaniya Shorba soup.
ALOO CHANA CHAAT – Boiled Potato and chickpeas with toppings of green mint-coriander dip, tamarind – pomegranate dip and yogurt.
TOMATO – DHANIYA SHORBA – Tomato and coriander soup which is not very thick.
I was welcomed by a complimentary mango drink with Papadams and mint dips.
After finishing of starters, this restaurant serves Palate cleanser drink which makes you refresh again to start the main course.
MAIN COURSE
PANEER TIKKA MASALA – Cottage cheese cubes dipped in semi-spicy, rich creamy & buttery tomato based gravy.
VEGETABLE HANDI – Mixed vegetables in spicy semi-thick gravy.
DAL TADKA –Yellow Dal with a seasoning of red chili and toppings of clarified butter(ghee).
BREAD – Tandoori Roti and Whole wheat Paratha.

Wow the food and decor looks absolutely stunning!
My mouth is watering. Vegetarian food is my favourite and Indian food is always at the top of my list. What a classy restaurant. The interior design in stunning and coupled with the lovely presentation of the dishes, I will certainly put this restaurant on my list of places to visit in Abu Dhabi. I have family living there and it is on our list to visit on the way to Europe.

Mynt Restaurant looks really lovely and I’ve never had a palate cleansing drink served at an Indian restaurant before – what a nice touch. You are spoilt for choice when you start looking at the options for indian cuisine in the Middle East but must say this one stands out. The decor is so classy and the bright colours just creates a great atmosphere. I must admit the food looks as tempting as well to match the top atmosphere. Great you enjoyed your lunch which I think is a better way to enjoy a restaurant rather than a busy evening.
Yes, the lazy lunch are always a great way to spend time with family because in evenings the restaurant staff and all are very rushing.
It looks like I’m going to Abu Dhabi alley for this restaurant. The fact they give you not one, but complimentary drinks is unheard of where I live. Additionally, all of their food looks incredible. The appetizer and paneer tikka masala sold me. I already loved Indian cuisine, but this restaurant took it to a new level.

I’ve not heard of this new restaurant Mynt in Abu Dhabi, I’ll check it next time I’m there. I love the décor, those turquoise chairs are beautiful! I love being in a restaurant with an open kitchen, really adds to the atmosphere. The Aloo Chana Chaat looks super delicious as does the Paneer Tikka Masala. Thank you for sharing your new find!

I love Indian food and I need to remember te Mynt when I’ll visit Abu Dhabi! The interior looks classy and cozy, I love those blue touches. Also, I’ve never seen a place serving palate cleanser drinks in between dishes, so cool!

I haven’t tried Mynt in Abu Dhabi but I have been to UAE before. I’m so curious to try ALOO CHANA CHAAT as it looks good in photos. OMG! I love Paneer Tikka Masala. It’s my default order during my trips whenever I’m craving for Indian food. I’ll definitely put Mynt in my bucket list in Middle East section of my travel diary. Hope to visit this soon!

The Mynt Abu Dhabi is simply posh, classy and very impressive! I was rather shocked that you said the restaurant was affordable because it definitely looks like it’s upper class. I would love to dine there and feel like royalty, even just for one meal. The aloo Chana chaat also looked divine. The different textures and flavors would make this dish very complex and a delight to eat. I’ll definitely have to visit this restaurant someday!
