This annual light festival has various shows by numerous famous artists. It is held annually at many historic and architectural icons at different locations in Sharjah. This show depicts many colorful abstract forms, dynamic patterns & shapes, image projections, Sharjah’s rich heritage & culture, graphic designs, chromatic lights, Islamic patterns & Orient designs, imaginations and combinations of primary colors, etc. These all photos and experiences are from last year. The Spiral of Light
Weekends from 6.00pm – 12.00 midnight
University City Hall is an icon of Sharjah’s landscape and epitomizes the emirate’s dedication to education and heritage and is a fitting venue for this story which portrays the wise vision that has laid the foundation for the last 50 years and the next 50 years to come. The sequences of the ‘past’, depict life in ancient Sharjah, illustrating the importance of the sea, the library, and the spiral.
Beauty by Contrast

The beauty of the emirate’s beloved Al Noor Mosque is showcased in this show reflecting the position of art as a tool of communication and Islamic art through time and history as an elemental language of the universe. Act 1 blends geometry, architecture, physics, mathematics, and philosophy into an astonishing show echoing the influence of art on the world – a Language of the Universe.
Dream of the Impossible

The majestic backdrop of the Al Rafisah Dam is the panoramic setting for Dream of the Impossible depicting the force of determination to achieve one’s dreams.
Human Energy through Heritage and History

The power of human energy – innovation, evolution, and authenticity is expressed in vibrant colors and shapes in this show celebrating the success of a unique emirate.
The Language of Infinity

Moving back in time, from the future and from infinity…. back to earth, The Language of Infinity merges geometry, calligraphy, and arabesque patterns in an homage to Islam, questioning and wondering what can be the future of these Islamic patterns.
A Journey of Legacy

The pragmatic façade of Al Hamriya Area Municipality lends itself to a story told in three parts, where the traditional heritage of the Emirate of Sharjah, encompassing coastal history and the emirate’s economic growth over the last 5 decades leads into scenes of Sharjah’s present prosperity and success followed by elemental displays of the next 50 years.
Islam + Architecture + Heritage
Weekends from 6.00pm – 12.00 midnight
Celebrating Heritage and Legacy, Progress of a Nation and Harmony as components of the emirate’s past, present, and future, this evocative show on the Rashid bin Ahmed Al Qassimi Mosque in Dibba Al Hisn, uses traditional and contemporary elements to highlight the originality of the building.
The Harmony of Islamic Motifs
Weekends from 6.00pm – 12.00 midnight
The transcendental exquisiteness of the Sharjah Mosque is the focus of a story showing the beauty and harmony of Islamic motifs, unique and timeless underlined with fast digital designs that infuse the show with a contrast of evolution and speed.

Entry – Free (No Tickets)
Ample Parking Place outside the monuments and events. If you are coming through a personal car then park it in public designated spaces which are free on Fridays but are paid on other days. Parking charges are 2 – 3 Dirhams per hour.
