This business styled hotel with spacious suite styled rooms will surely make your stay comfortable and relaxed.

General review of Home2 Suites by Hilton Champaign Urbana, IL
Perfectly located within few kilometers from major attractions and University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, this hotel welcomes you with colorful lobby and cozy outdoor patio.
Welcoming staff at the reception with welcome drink and some cookies or fresh fruit will make your check-in very comfy. The lobby is adorned with colorful lounge chairs, comfy seating style to relax and chit-chat with fellow travelers. The whole ambiance of the lobby and reception is full of warmth and with cheerful environment. The bright colors of the lobby and patio make you feel very cheerful.
This lavish and stylish property has 104 rooms with wide sizes and varieties. The feature of this property is the size of rooms as they can accommodate big groups too. The suite rooms have a fully functional inbuilt kitchenette.Â
The main lobby has nice seating area with indoor and outdoor options. Indoor options are very colorful and you have many seating styles too.
Outdoor they have a small fireplace with gazebo, BBQ area with seating and nice sit out which is perfect in winters too. Outdoors of this property is also very interesting due to nice sit out in gazebo with actual fireplace and BBQ area. The outdoor area suits perfectly to laze out near the fire in cool winters. Â
The lobbies, common areas near the lift are adorned with bright colorful paintings depicting great thoughts about conservation of the environment and other things. The common area has a big TV screen, entertainment area, working area, a small library, and inbuilt electronic fireplace area.
ROOMSÂ
First of all, I must say, the color combination of the room is very appealing as they have used the shades of green, yellow and rust colors. Playing with the various hues of these combinations the room looks warm and relaxed. The bright abstract style of paintings adorning the printed wallpapered walls also makes the atmosphere cheerful.
The two Queen size beds are comfortable, cozy and good for a family of four. I would rate 5 out of 5 for sleep quality.
This room being a suite room has partitioned area with sofa cum bed and the working desk with the ergonomic chair too.
The special small kitchen at the entrance of door is fully functional with large size refrigerator, microwave, electric cooking range, dishwasher and all utensils to cook and eat are provided. Â Other facilities of the room include complimentary bottled water, Iron board, safe, Flat TV, Tea Making facility. Â
BATHROOM
The bathroom is comfortable with all basic necessities like bathrobes, branded toiletries, dental/shaving kits, vanity kits, hairdryer, towels and weighing scale.
BREAKFAST OPTIONS
Complimentary Continental Buffet Breakfast from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.
Tea or Coffee in common areas throughout the day and night.

If there are some University programs like Dad’s Weekend, Mom’s Weekend, Graduation Day ceremony, or Welcoming New student’s program then this hotel is full across these dates in many months in advance. So book some months before if you are traveling across these dates.
RECOMMENDED FOR
FAMILY TRAVELER –Rooms are big and spacious to accommodate families. Located centrally and so many important things are very close-by. Also, there is a kitchen, so you can something which kids might need especially.
LARGE GROUP STAYS – As this hotel has many room size options and no binding on the age of people living in the room of 4 or 6 many large groups can be accommodated here.Â
BUSINESS CONFERENCE MEETS – Due to property size, facilities, service, location and ambiance big business or office conference meets can very well arrange here.

Overall I must say, staying at this hotel is relaxing and comfortable. The hotel premises and the rooms are very neat and clean. So, whenever you are visiting Champaign for Business or meeting your kids at University then consider a stay at this hotel to enjoy Comfort, Elegance, Warm Hospitality, and cozy evenings, all at an affordable deal in the prime location of this beautiful county.

CHICAGO O’HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – From Airport you can rent a car to drive down here or buy tickets through Peoria charter bus or Amtrak trains to reach Champaign Urbana.

I haven’t stayed at a Home2Suites yet but they look cozy. Love the price point especially for the amenities and amount of space you get. The outdoor BBQ area looks like a great spot to relax.

I’ve wondered about this hotel. I’ve stayed at other Hilton’s and loved reading your review. The kitchen in the room looks really nice to have.
Some parts looked so familiar as I stayed in a Home2Suites a few years ago in Layton, Utah. I love the fireplace and gazebo at this one though. I don’t remember if the location I stayed at had that. to be quite honest, I was attending a business conference across the street and payed little attention to the details. If on a pleasure trip, sitting by that fireplace must be so relaxing on cool evenings!
The fireplace is the major attractions of this place.
I always find that with Hilton, there’s just a general level of accommodation that you get that tends to be really pleasing and make for a good trip. I find the staff in particular to be really kind!
Very interesting. I have never heard of this Home2 Suites before even though we do use Hilton from time to time. Looks very cozy and clean, I would definitely like it. Extra points for the coffee at the room, I can’t start my day without it! Great find!
I really like the décor of Home2 Suites by Hilton in Champaign Urbana IL and being welcomed with a drink and cookies is always a bonus! I’m amazed the room had a full size refrigerator and a dishwasher plus a grocery store on site. This is an ideal space for families

Home2 Suites by Hilton Champaign Urbana IL has all the makings of a perfect stay. Loving the colourful vibrancy of the decor which lends it a very contemporary aura. One of the best things is the sit out with the small fireplace. Looks like a great place to hang out in. the temperature controlled swimming pool too looks really inviting. 24 hour availability of tea and coffee too is a bonus!
Yes this hotel is very cozy and perfect for large groups or families too because of size and extra amenities.
If I would like to have a staycation, this would be the place that definitely I would love to choose to. The place looks like a home to me, because they cater what actually the client needs like infant beds, not all hotels are having this kind of concern for toddler. It is also very luxurious and I love the outdoor settings with the fireplace and gazebo.

I really like the sound of this hotel, especially the friendly welcome. All the colorful decorations also help make it feel a little less impersonal and buisinessy. For me, the kitchenette would be a major plus, the lack of kitchen is one of the reasons I usually avoid staying at hotels.

What a funky place to stay. The accommodation looks good, as you say relaxed and welcoming. The rooms are quite large as well and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I love a fire pit, what a relaxing place for a drink.

The accommodations look perfect for a home away from home, while on a vacation. I love having a kitchen in my room as an option for home cooked meals. The outdoor fireplace sitting area looks like the perfect place to talk about my travels with a friend over a glass of wine.

I have not yet stayed at a location with Home2 Suites. It looks like there was great indoor and outdoor common space to hand out. Sitting by the fire at night would be great. When we are on the road for a long time, we love to have a kitchen so we don’t have to eat out every day. This looks like a great spot with a family if you are visiting Champain.

This looks like the perfect place to relax after a day of town exploration! Also, the gym and the indoor pool are a big plus and I really like the interior design. If I ever visit this are I’d definitely consider staying at this hotel.
