I have always wanted to to go on a yoga and wellness retreat to India. This post is very insightful and will help me in my future travels to India! Thanks so much
You would love India
I think with the current happening around the globe, Yoga and Ayurveda has started becoming more relevant and useful. Apart from the physical wellness, our inner peace is also enhanced. When more and more people start understanding the true value of Yoga and Ayurveda, maybe this will grow even faster.
I know, Yoga and Ayurveda has a bright future and also a good practice for mankind. Now people will consider it as a way of living.
I haven’t done Yoga Tourism in India but I once went to a yoga studio in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I can certainly say that it was so different than what I was used back home. However, I would like to go to India and practice yoga as it is the realm where this practice has appeared.
Yoga Wellness Tourism interests me greatly. We travelled to Kerala and had ayurvedic treatments but unfortunately never made it to any yoga classes. Incredible India does a great job promoting wellness and medical tourism. India is definitely on the rise. We will be planning more travels to India and would like to include wellness tourism as part of our journey.
Thanks Jane, I am sure you would definitely love wellness tourism in India.
