I too bought many sweets and eatables from Turkey as they are really worth buying.
I generally do not buy much in the way of souvenirs when we travel. But that does not stop me from wandering in local shops and admiring the crafts. But we do bring home food and drink that we can consume! I love all the different flavours of Turkish delight we might find. Dried fruit would be great to fuel us during our walking days.
