How to reach – Location – The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah – Luxury Hotel in UAE
Located in heart of Sharjah, Al Marija, Ash Shariqah.
FROM DUBAI – approximately 30 minutes by car via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Rd – E 311 – 30 km approx.
PROPERTY LAYOUT – The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah – Luxury Hotel in UAE
The whole area is divided into a cluster of rooms with courtyards and narrow alleys. The zig-zag-style lanes with lanterns hanging on both sides make u feel like passing through a maze. You take this zig-zag maze route passing through many courtyards, corners, to land in your room. While passing through you will admire all Arabic style interiors with small sit-outs in between, Arabic lamps & pots, desert flora, and fauna.
Passing through lanes, you would not feel very hot, as they are constructed in such a way that direct hot winds don’t enter. The ancient houses are renovated and so they are naturally built to be cooler. At present these rooms are air-conditioned but during old times, the construction was done to keep the rooms cooler.

The reception of the hotel is tiny but very welcoming. You are welcomed by a special Lavender cooler drink and then with all formalities, you are given the historic tour of the whole premises.
One of their staff accompanies you and gives a full hotel tour with all the historic facts of this building. This historic tour is interesting to know about the local culture and local lifestyle. All guests are given a special personal tour of the hotel on welcome.

ROOM TOUR
I booked Chedi Grand Patio Suite with bedroom, living room, ensuite and spacious bathroom.
You are welcomed into your room with complimentary Arabic sweets, nuts, dried fruits, and in-house bottled water. Water is replenished innumerable times. Daily with your room cleaning, sweets and nuts are replenished too.
BEDROOM – The décor of the whole room transports you back to ancient Arabic time with all lavish furnishings and comforts. The hotel boasts of the sleeping quality on this bed due to the special luxury mattress and bedding. Their punchline for sleep quality is like sleep here like you have not slept anywhere else before.
The room’s temperature is well-controlled by AC. The whole room has a lot of pure wood decoration and even toiletries tray, dry-fruits tray, all are wooden here. Not use plastics or modern days metallic décor has been used in the room interiors.
Carpets are the traditional and truly ancient style with Arabic patterns laid on cemented floors. Even the flooring of the whole room is cemented like old times.
BATHROOMS –
Built-in traditional style with all brass fittings and fixtures. The flooring of the shower area is stoned or pebbled so that you get a feeling of taking a bath on a natural surface.
Toiletries are imported from luxury Italian designer brands with all amenities.
Outside rooms there are narrow lanes with small low sit-outs. These small sit-outs are located after every 3 to 5 rooms and are adorned with special Arabic lamps, low-level seating like Majlis.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is included in your room stay and is nowadays served as an unlimited Ala’ Carte as compared to buffet style which was served previously.
International breakfast with many choices around the world. Healthy options with lots of fruits, an Acai bowl, and other stuff. You can find many vegetarian varieties and even 2 to 3 Indian breakfast dishes too. The menu is set with wide categories and you can select as many as and can order unlimited till you are full.
EVENING AT THE CHEDI AL BAIT, SHARJAH – The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah – Luxury Hotel in UAE
The beauty of this heritage property is magical in evening lights. Not only day time is beautiful here, but the shadows of dim lights from lanterns and Arabic lamps make this place very dramatic after the sunsets. So the evening tour of this property is amazing with all those narrow lanes and courtyards lit up with lanterns and lamps. All lighting has been done carefully to preserve the ancient style and so you feel the magic after sunset.
The glimpse of lanterns lit up against the mud-washed walls, with wind towers, make the whole area very photogenic and Instagram friendly. Spending an evening here is most recommended and adds a special charm to your stay.

Ooh that looks like a stunning place to stay at!♥️
Thanks for reading and loving it
I love the design including the open courtyards. I would much rather stay at a place like this than a skyscraper hotel that doesn’t have any distinguishing features. The lavender drink sounds delicious, and that breakfast is making my mouth water!
What a unique and interesting place to stay! I love the zig zag maze like courtyard, and it is so neat how they will give you a tour and history of the property when you check in.
Wow the Chedi Al Bait Sharjah looks beautiful. We have yet to visit the UAE but I have been a bit shy because it looks so modern and flashy like Las Vegas or Singapore. Not that there is anything wrong with those cities, it is just I prefer old style. But it looks like the Chedi Al Bait Sharjah combines both modern with historical so this is a perfect balance. That Chedi Grand Patio Suite sounds amazing and I love the room overall. I think my wife would love exploring the Library too. I have to say that their lighting at night was gorgeous
Even though I am a budget traveler, I would like to have a Luxury hotel experience. Dubai is on my list for so long. Hopefully next year!
This looks like such a lovely property. I never thought about how constructing corridors like that would help keep you cool! All the snacks and food they provide look so delicious and the hotel is beautiful lit up at night. I love the idea of being transported back to the time of Arabian nights!
Wow what a lovely property. I love their attention to the minutest details. Lots of open area to sit around. Their gesture of taking guests for a tour around the hotel is a lovely marketing gesture.
What a piece of luxury! Your room looks really nice. I think I will sit and take pictures at every nook. Hehe… I like that they provide private tour to introduce the history of the hotel to its customer. That’s really nice. And I wonder if they provide a map of the hotel in every room though. Seems like you can easily lost when wandering around.
Wow! This is wonderful. I am so amazed on how they built it (just like you mentioned) it was designed so direct hot winds won’t enter. It’s cool that they will give you a tour around before they take you to your room.
The room looks adequate and really nice. Love the lighting as it adds to the nice ambience.
Happy to know too that they have lots of choices (international) during breakfast. Will keep this in mind should we get a chance to visit.
Classy hotels in UAE are popular for their luxurious setting and service! Chedi al bait seems to be one of those higher end hotels with a lot of attractions for the customers. I like the touches of Arabic heritage in the various decor and architecture of the hotel. I will definitely look it up while in Sharjah next. 🙂
Wow Chedi Al Bait definitely looks very luxurious and I would totally love to stay this amazing hotel when I am in Sharjah next time. I really liked the ambience and the heritage look of the rooms. I visited Sharjah only for a day from Dubai and unfortunately I could not stay there for longer. I really loved the vibes of the place and I will plan for visiting it again the next time I am in Dubai.
The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah looks like a great luxury option if we return to Dubai. I love all the small courtyards and sit out areas around the property. The property looks magical after dark. Good that you were able to have access to the pool – even if you did need to book ahead right now.
I love the layout and décor of The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah, so different from traditional hotel properties. I’m impressed guests are met with a Lavender cooler drink and a tour of the property. I can imagine myself relaxing in one of the sit outs after a long day of sightseeing. Thank you for introducing me to this property
I liked the virtual tour of Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah. Wow, what a luxurious resort and what an interesting combination of styles! I like the traditional carpets and furniture and mixed with the comfort of a modern, contemporary bed. It must have felt like heaven sleeping there!
Wow, the Chedi Al Bait Sharjah is breathtaking! I’d love to have a drink and take in the beautiful surroundings. Especially love all the options for outdoor seating.
What a quaint get-up!
What a beautiful hotel to stay at! Hopefully I’ll have the budget to book into this hotel when I visit this area!
What a beautiful slice of paradise! This looks like the idea hotel to relax in. I love the attention to detail with the service that is provided. The little touches such as the welcome drinks and the sweets in the room are the small things that add up to create the luxurious feel. Thanks for sharing this gem with us!
Yes sometimes personalised attention by hotels means a lot to guests. I love such places.
Oooh Yukti this looks like an incredible place to stay! I’d far rather stay somewhere like this than one of the big soulless hotels in a skyscraper – it oozes character! The courtyards look like pleasant places to relax, especially at night when things are cooler.
I too love a place with some uniqueness and some theme. Love such places where we can feel it instead of just spending a night.
