Many people apply for single entry tourist visas for UAE by travel agencies. However, the Multiple-entry Tourist visa with 5 years validity can be applied online you can self-apply too.
How To Apply 5 Years UAE Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa
Self-sponsored visa – So there is no need for a sponsor. But you need to show some bank statements with the minimum decided amount and some insurance policy. Read below to get more clarity.

No international trips history is needed to fill the application.
UAE Multi-Entry Visa Procedure
Pay and submit the online application form. You get confirmation mail after registration.
There are 2 different websites through which you can apply UAE Multi-entry visa procedure –
- Dubai, then GDRFA’s website – https://www.gdrfad.gov.ae/en
- Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Al Ain, and the Al Dhafra (Western region), then ICA’s website ica.gov.ae is the right platform.

Processing time – 5 to 7 working days after visa application gets approved
Tracking the application status
Track your application station through the online site at https://beta.smartservices.ica.gov.ae/ if you have applied through the ICA portal. You would need to enter the same request number and email address (used while registering).
How to get or print the 5-year UAE Multi-Entry Tourist Visa
After the application is approved, through the same request number and email address and select ‘print-electronic visa’
Validity of 5 years Visa – First entrance after Visa Approvals
The e-visa is only valid for 60 days from the date of issue. So the applicant has to make first entry to UAE within 60 days to validate the e-visa or permit to get issued the Multiple-Entry Tourist visa with a validity of 5 years.
This UAE 5-year Multi-entry Tourist visa, when approved, then e-visa needs to be downloaded from the ICA’s website.
Type of Documents you need for a 5-year UAE Multiple-Entry Tourist visa
- Colored passport size photo – soft copy as per UAE standards (mentioned on the website).
- Passport – soft copy
- Travel Insurance – soft copy
- Bank statement – previous 6 months – with a balance of at least 4,000 USD
- Flights and hotels bookings are not mandatory.
Requirement for Bank balance statement UAE Multiple Entry
For a 5-year Multi-entry tourist visa to UAE, the applicant needs to show proof of bank balance of at least 4,000 USD throughout the last 6 months. All your monthly statements for the last 6 months should reflect an amount of more than 4000 USD.

Any global travel insurance scheme is valid for this visa’s online application. Many people take 6 months insurance policy before applying application.

You do not need a sticker visa on your passport. An immigration officer will stamp the visa on your passport as they scan visa status from your Passport number.

UAE 5 year multiple-entry tourist visa application requires anyone local mobile & landline phone numbers of UAE. Many people put their relative’s or friend’s Numbers. But if you don’t have any relatives or friends then you can book cancellable hotels directly or Booking.com and give the property mobile phone & landline number which you booked.
