As the concept of this restaurant is desi- authentic – North Indian highway food and so are the interiors. The reception wall is made into a truck front façade. Also, other walls are designed as North Indian village interiors with Jharokha-style windows and vibrant yellow walls.  The seating arrangements are of two kinds with ease on sofa style of arrangement and table-chairs.

  • Sarson Da Saag

North Indian food – especially the winter food does not get complete if you don’t have Mustard leaves curry. Sarson(mustard) leaves are cooked in special preparation in Punjab(Northern India) and taste amazing when garnished with lots of white butter.

Vegetable fritters dipped in creamy yellow Indian sauce will melt in your mouth and you will always crave more for it.

  • Dal makhan maar ke

Dal Makhani - Dhaba Lane

Black lentils cooked in a pot and that too slow cooking makes it very delicious and also a very high source of protein. Black lentils cooked with extra butter are the signature dish of Dhaba Lane and a must-try. They also serve Dal Makhan in a special vessel that looks like a water-well.

  • Assorted bread

Indian pieces of bread like Lachcha Paratha, Tandoori Roti, Tandoori Nan are perfect to have with these delicious curries.

  • Dum Biryani Rice

Dhaba Lane Biryani

No Indian meal is complete with rice items and too if it is Biryani. Aromatic Flavored Biryani made in earthen pot is the perfect way to end your main course.

DESSERTS

  • Moong Dal halwa

Review of Dhaba Lane - best north indian food in Dubai

Yellow lentils dessert is a high source of protein and is very nutritious too. Dhaba Lane adds jaggery (Gur) instead of sugar. I loved the taste of Moong Dal Halwa and also the presentation was awesome as it was garnished with dry rose petals, dry fruits, and some exotic fruits.

  • Gulab Jamun

Review of Dhaba Lane - best north indian food in Dubai

Milk solid dumplings dipped in sugar syrup are a common dessert of Indian food. But Dhaba Lane has given unique fusion to this dish by dipping milk solid fritters in honey. So basically it looks healthier version of traditional Gulab Jamun. Also, this dessert is garnished with dry rose petals and dry nuts.
