The roads of UAE are very smooth, safe, and well-maintained.  There are some villages in between where there are Friday markets on the roadside for stopovers. You can buy fresh fruits from farms, palm trees, handicrafts, and Persian carpets from local people/vendors.

There are many luxurious beach resorts along the coastline of Fujairah. We chose Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort for our stay.

The view towards the sea is definitely much better than the one towards the mountains and the highway. I like the sound of the villages having markets on the side of the road on Fridays.

  21. Looks like a fun place to relax and explore a not-as-well-known part of UAE. To be honest, I often forget that there are beaches in this part of the world, so your post is a pleasant reminder of that. I love that there are many opportunities to get out into the city and discover more of the history and local customs, and not just the resort life!
