  1. Europe can surely compete with its beaches – they’re all beautiful! I’ve actually been to all but not Hvar. Is Hvar a party island? Would you know if it’s open now? And how expensive is Hvar? Thanks in advance for your tips!

    1. Thanks for dropping by and for knowing about which places are open or not is better to check with official government rules as they vary time to time as per pandemic conditions. For me all over Europe is expensive as compared to Asia. So the comparison of expensive and cheap destinations also depend on from you are coming from or from which currency you are earning and then spending on tourism.

  2. Of these, the two that were already on my list were Algarve and Marseilles. But now I added Hvar and Sardinia too. These look so stunning and promise enough to do. Ibiza is rumored to be a little crowded. Have your personally been there and experienced it ? Is it as they say – crowded?

    1. It depends on when you go, Actually i generally go in shoulder season due my children’s school schedule. So for me it was not crowded. Even you can see my Acropolis Athens photos, Santorini photos, I took exclusive photos without any crowd. So for me it was not. It depends on season too.

  3. A great post on luxury beaches in Europe. I would like to see each of the places you present. I dream of the beaches of Santorini and Mykonos. The archipelago of La Maddalena, Pink Beach, and Caprera island on Santorini seems the perfect romantic luxury escape.

  4. I’ve been both to Mykonos and Santorini. I have yet to explore the other beaches. The Italian one is lovely, and I need to put Algarve on my list. I’m headed to Portugal (hopefully!) in 2021, and I’d love to visit that beach!

  5. Mykonos has been on the top of my bucket list for so long, but I had no idea that it used to be a pirate island! What a cool tidbit of information. All of these locations look luxurious indeed, it will be hard to pick from to plan my next trip. Thanks for sharing!

  6. I dream of the day that I can get back to a European beach, and this article has really inspired my wanderlust. You’ve captured some of my absolute favourites here from Mykonos to Hvar. And Santorini’s black sand beaches are some of my favourite beaches in the world. Thanks for sharing these fantastical destinations and provide me a bit of escapism in the cold and dreary autumnal weather in the UK!

  7. Beaches are my favorite and every trip that we make to Europe I try and ensure that there is a beach desination. If no beaches at least a river. Hvar & Algarve are the ones that we have visited. Greece was in our plans for this year but now hofefully next year.Would love to be in Ibiza and Sardinia. Both look beautiful.

  8. Such a shame that I have not been to any of these beaches in Europe. I was supposed to go to Croatia last year which unfortunately I couldnt make it for some reason. I would love to visit each one of these, especially in Italy and France which I will be planning once we are out of the pandemic.

  9. Its getting really cold in Europe right now and dreaming of a beach holiday for next year is what I have been doing. Algarve in Portugal and Sardinia are on my list to visit. I would love to revisit Malaga and Hvar – such beautiful places!

  10. Santorini is definitely on top my list whenever we talk about beaches in Europe. The sunset is just beautiful.

Ibiza is also equally beautiful and we would love to visit sometime in the the future. Thank you for sharing these beautiful beach destination. We will definitely consider them on our future trips.

  11. Such a great list of the most beautiful and luxurious beaches in Europe. For sure, each of the places mentioned by you is worth seeing. I love the beaches in Spain and Portugal. On my bucket list are the beaches of Santorini and Sardinia.

  12. I’ve always wanted to visit Santorini, but now with too many people been there and shared their pictures all over social media, the urge to visit the island is not as high as it used to be. It still is a very beautiful island though. Sardinia looks pretty cool, as well as Algarve. The color of the ocean is magical!

  13. Out of all the amazing destinations that you’ve listed, the one that tops for me is definitely Santorini for the beautiful Instagrammable setting and the views followed by Algrave for the gorgeous beaches. I can literally picture myself sipping wine and seeing the day pass by, sitting by the pool, overlooking the vast expanse of the Mediterranean Sea.

  14. Out of all the places you listed here, I’ve only been to Santorini. Unbelievably beautiful place, just like the pictures. I would love to visit all these other places, but since I haven’t been to Croatia yet, maybe Hvar would be the first one on my list.
