Perfect Comfort Stay at Marlin Hotel Odessa
Marlin Hotel’s sea-themed décor Reception lobby welcomes you with warmth and great smiles. After a smooth and fast Check-in, when you move ahead this Reception lobby you can see glass fish murals on the walls and the paintings adorning the walls are sea themed. Being Odessa a Port city, the interiors of this hotel perfectly matches the mood and vibes as a person comes to Odessa for beach vacations and enjoying sea life.Â
The location of this hotel plays the main role in selecting this for my stay. This hotel is located as 500m away from famous Odessa Theatre of Opera, 800 m from Duke de Richelieu Monument and few minutes from the famous walking street of Odessa with many restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. The chandeliers in the reception are conch or shell-shaped with lights. The lobby is having a nice seating area with comfy leather couches and sofas.Â
ROOMS of MARLIN HOTEL ODESSA – This hotel has 46 rooms with a wide range of sizes and varieties like from Standard to Suite rooms.   As this hotel offers a variety of rooms, it accommodates all family sizes and requirements. Suite rooms are in Duplex format with 1 bedroom at the top and 1 bedroom with the living area on the ground floor which is very good for privacy among the family members.  The paintings in the room match the theme of the city with paintings on the wall are marine themed.Â
I chose Duplex Junior Suite to accommodate 4 members in my family. Our suite was very big with and spread out at different levels like a master bedroom on the 1st floor which is connected with wooden staircase to kid’s bedroom with their separate entertainment areas. All rooms have their own study desk, TV, chairs, etc. Both rooms are spacious and have cozy and comfortable beds with many pillows and quilts. Additionally, the room is fully equipped with Mini Bar, Tea Making Facility, Complimentary Bottled Water, Iron Board, Safe, Electric Adapter, Flat TV panel in both rooms, Carpeted area, and Dressing Area.Â
I entered into a marine-themed decorated suite room and my kids loved their comfortable bed with all privacy. The room size is big enough with having various spaces to organize luggage and items, I spread out my stuff more comfortably, especially when traveling with children.
Though there is no view from the room, it was great to go up and down on wooden stairs from above level to lower level and staying in the duplex bedroom was fun for the whole family.Â
BATHROOM – The bathroom is big, comfortable, modern and fully equipped with Herbal toiletries, Dental and Shaving kits, Hair Dryer, Cotton Slippers, Bath Robes, and Towels.Â
BREAKFAST OPTIONS – Breakfast is included in the stay and has continental varieties. Though they can add some more varieties in the breakfast menu, it was good to fill our stomach. As the breakfast area is too big and classy but I think as they are newly opened hotel, they are trying to add on things. Like for toasted bread, we have to give them a request, which I think every basic hotel provides toaster. The area is well designed with nice seating area and deco, but they still have to improve on Breakfast options and serving style.

- Ask for a Higher floor room
- On request sometimes they relax your check-in or check-out times if the hotel is not very busy. The staff is very flexible if we want to change our check-out time for 2 to 3 hours more.

Pretty hotel and the wood floors are a nice touch. I like that it has two levels though not having a bathroom upstairs would be a deal breaker for me. Hopefully they will get the breakfast kinks worked out soon enough. With them being a luxury hotel and offering so many awesome amenities, you would think that would come easy.

What a beautiful hotel. I love the maritime and fish theme throughout. The location near the beach is perfect for Odessa which is a port city. They’re new so they’ll figure out the breakfast buffet issues. What a great place for a family since they’re so much room.

Looks like the hotel prepares their visitors for what to expect in this port city with the themed they chose. The Duplex Junior Suite is really a great choice for family with children. Parents and kids have their own spaces, and kids have fun going up and down the wooden stairs like your kids. The bathroom looks clean and I like they provided all the basic amenities. I wonder you had to request for toasts because toasts are not something they have in their culture. But I’m sure they will fix it in the future.

I love being able to walk to different places when visiting a new city and this sounds like it’s in the perfect location to do just that! The Marlin Hotel seems like the perfect place to stay for someone like me who hasn’t been to Odessa. The central location to a ton of different sites is absolutely a key part of what I look for in a place to stay when visiting somewhere new. Also, those two level rooms are SO COOL! I stayed in one when I was a kid and remember thinking it was the coolest thing ever!
