Public transport is very reliable, safe, on time and very clean. I recommend at least one ride in the metro, or tram as they pass along through the beautiful skylines of the city. Great to provide a view of the things to do in Dubai that is tailored for different types of travellers. We have done a lot of the things on your list. But must admit we missed the theme parks. That might be a fun adventure – even without kids! High Tea was on our list for our last visit and we did not get there. So we will check out the one at the Emirates Palace! This post just shows that you may need more than one visit to see all Dubai has to offer.
The old historic town area would be where I’d opt to explore during my trip. It would be interesting to see and understand the roots of this city to see how and why it has developed as it has.
